For Keen Coffee, I created an image that reflects the core values of the brand: honesty, individuality, boldness, passion, and sustainability. My aim was to translate these qualities into a visually striking composition that not only captures attention, but also strengthens the unique identity of the brand.
The image combines graphic shapes, vibrant colours, and a clean, carefully styled aesthetic that aligns with Keen Coffee’s fresh, flavourful, and daring character. To challenge myself creatively, I deliberately moved away from a traditional flat lay approach and instead focused on creating more depth and layering within the composition.
Lighting played a key role in shaping the atmosphere of the image. Rather than using my usual softer lighting techniques, I experimented with harder and more directional light to create expressive shadows and stronger contrasts. This approach added more structure, depth, and visual impact to the final image, while still maintaining a refined and polished look.
